A pair of area athletes have earned All-American football recognition from the NAIA. Pella Christian Graduate Alex Huisman was a 1st team selection from Dordt University. Huisman earned 2nd team recognition this past spring season as well.

Pella Graduate Chase Carter was a 2nd team All-American honoree as a kicker for Morningside Carter leads the nation in extra points made this fall, and is playing for the NAIA National Championship this Saturday. Carter was a starting kicker for the 2019 National Championship Morningside team. The Mustangs will be playing in the National Championship game on Saturday, Dec. 18th, at 5:00 p.m. Central Time in Durham, NC.
