Still looking for their first win, both of the Melcher-Dallas basketball Squads will travel to Diagonal tonight. The girls have been taking the approach of emphasizing the positives in the games. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports she has to keep a balance pointing out what they need to work on and what they are doing well.

Goff: “Finding that happy medium and keeping their confidence up and telling them what they need to work on, and they’re young and we tell them they’re playing against players that have played for 3-4 years.”

The boys are in the same situation as the Saints are young and do not have a lot of on court experience. Coach John Suntken tells KNIA Sports they are playing hard, but the wins have not come yet and hope they do soon. The girls game is set to begin at 6:00.
