The Pella School Board met for the final time in the calendar year Monday

A public hearing has been scheduled for January 10th to consider plans, specifications, form of contract, and estimated cost for high school facility upgrades. A contract with DCI Group for construction management of the proposed early childhood learning center and Jefferson Intermediate School expansion was also approved.

The board also approved new course proposals at Pella High School, including Advanced Manufacturing and Intro to Digital Photography, as well as two additional early retirement requests. The choir/orchestra trip in spring of 2022 was also formally approved, after it was tentatively given the go-ahead in April 2021.
