“Lights Out” was a fitting name for the home opening triangular of the winter season as the Pella wrestling team dominated Newton 62-18 and Clarke 57-15 Tuesday night.

The special event featured one mat and new lights in the Pella High School gym and a pair of strong head-to-head performances for Pella wrestlers.

Logan Bruxvoort earned a pair of pinfall wins and Logan Schroeder won by fall and by decision, while many Dutch grapplers also had several forfeit wins on top of those on the mat. Click here for full results.
