Progress continues at new housing districts in Knoxville. A new structure has appeared in the past week at the former site of East Elementary, while another house remains under construction. Eleven more units are expected to be built on this site beginning in spring 2022.

Ground has broken at the site of 155 housing units owned by Kading Properties, just east of the Knoxville Walmart. Those units are scheduled to be complete in fall 2022.
