With one week remaining in the Christmas shopping season, the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce encourages everyone to shop locally. Director Emma Skahill says when people shop locally, they support the greater good of their communities as a whole.
“Our businesses have been working hard with one another to have offers and fun events going on throughout the holiday season. Remember when you shop local, you’re supporting local businesses and your friends and neighbors, you’re supporting your community overall. Try to keep your dollars as local as possible, because there are so many great businesses here that we’d love to see thrive.”
Skahill also reminds those who picked up snowballs at Living Windows that those deals are valid through Christmas Eve at local retailers.
