The Knoxville High School Music Department will present its annual winter concert tonight. Band Director Meredith Tipping says the students have worked hard for this performance, and it’ll be an all-encompassing show.

“We actually started as soon as marching band was done in the end of October, we dove right into Christmas music, which is a little early for some people. We have a lot of good tunes this year, some traditional things, a couple of unique pieces in there as well that the kids have had fun working on.”

It’ll feature the concert band, jazz band, and both choirs. The concert begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Knoxville Performing Arts Center.
