The Indianola School Board has accepted the resignation of Superintendent Art Sathoff, which will go into effect on June 30th of 2022.

The board released a statement regarding the resignation:

“We are very thankful for his leadership and service to our students, staff, and community these past seven-and-a-half years and especially during the last year-and-a-half as he led our district through the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The board also said that they are beginning the search for a new Superintendent, and are committed to finding a Superintendent who will continue to successfully lead the district. Find the full statement below.
