Families in the area had many ways to purchase a Christmas tree this year, picking out the tree that will help them celebrate the holidays with family and friends.

Gary Harman with Walnut Ridge Christmas Tree Farm in Indianola tells KNIA News one of the many perks of the job is knowing the experience of picking out a Christmas tree is a fun time for both kids and families, and makes all the hard work worth it.

“The best part of it is when families come get a tree, it doesn’t make any difference how cold it is or how inclimate the weather is, a very high percentage of people are in a good mood and smiling. The kids are always happy and excited, and that makes it all worthwhile.”
