The Iowa High School girls basketball season is past the one-third checkpoint heading into winter break, however, the Little Hawkeye Conference standings have a lot left to tell just three games into the 14-game round robin.

Four ranked teams from Class 4A (as of December 16th) make up half of the league thus far, including (regular season and conference record):
No. 4 Indianola (6-2, 2-1)
No. 6 Grinnell (7-0, 3-0)
No. 8 Dallas Center-Grimes (6-3, 2-1)
No. 14 Pella (6-2, 2-1)
Norwalk (4-3, 2-1)
Oskaloosa (6-2, 1-2)
Pella Christian (2-6, 0-3)
Newton (1-6, 0-3)
