The Pleasantville City Council met in regular session Tuesday. They approved Police Chief Joe Mrstik to receive training to become a polygrapher, approved the addition of wayfinding signs to direct motorists to areas of interest throughout the city, approved a parcel split at 1163 30th Place pending approval by the Marion County Board of Supervisors, and approved the hire of a new police officer and increase in officer salaries.
