pleasantville-3

With the first part of the 2021 season completed, Pleasantville’s girls’ basketball squad will try to improve their play on the road in order to make a push towards finishing in the top half of the West Central Conference.

The Trojans currently stand at 6-4 on the season with a 2-3 record in conference play. As it stands, Pleasantville’s home record is sitting at 4-1 with their only loss coming to Des Moines Chrstian. The Trojans have played some tough games on the road, including losing to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont, Van Meter, and Earlham for a 2-3 record away from Pleasantville. Their road schedule won’t get any easier as they go to Interstate-35, West Central Valley, Des Moines Christian, Chariton, and ACGC in 2022. Pleasantville is going to have to find a way to win on the road in order to have a top finish in a tough West Central Conference.

The first game in 2022 for Pleasantville is January 4, which is the first part of a girls/boys home West Central Conference doubleheader with Panorama.
