The year of 2021 was one of many successes for the Indianola High School Activities Department, with many wins, conference championships, postseason victories, and more highlighting the past year. Activities Director Lee Nelson tells KNIA Sports it is very difficult to pick just one moment out of many, but the football squad getting to host the first home playoff game in decades is one for the history books.

“That one is just a little bit different, because it was something that has been a long time since we’ve gotten to do that. Not to single out just those guys, we did have some incredible performances in 2021, and we are really looking forward to what 2022 has in store for us.”

Nelson also said he appreciates the community’s support for all the activities and athletics teams over the past year.
