PCM’s boys basketball squad will resume play on January 3, and they have a tough second half of the schedule highlighted by six road Heart of Iowa Conference games.

The Mustangs begin the second half of the season on the road at Earlham, who is a top team in the West Central Conference. After that opener, PCM will go to South Hamilton, Nevada, Saydel, Perry, West Marshall, and Roland-Story. Sandwiched in between those road games are  home matchups with reigning Class 3A Champion Pella and Greene County, who they lost to in the first half of the year. PCM’s record currently stands at 5-6 with a 3-3 record in Heart of Iowa Conference play. In order to finish in the top half, the Mustangs will have to win at least half of their conference road games.
