COVID-19 vaccination rates are continually climbing in Warren County, with age groups varying above and below the state average. Warren County Health Services Director Jodene DeVault tells KNIA News the older population in Warren County has done a great job at protecting themselves from the virus.

“We have given out a little over 4,000 doses from our agency. The over 65 years of age in Warren County are well vaccinated, 95% just about, which is above the State of Iowa average so really good. We are a little lower vaccinated compared to the rest of the state in the age 12-64 years old, but we are still encouraging them.”
