The Knoxville Library will celebrate the 175th anniversary of Iowa’s statehood today. Director Roslin Thompson says to come in to learn about the history of our state.

“December 28th is Iowa’s 175th birthday. We’ll have a pop up display for people to see the history of Iowa over the last 175 years.”

The display will be available for viewing all day. The Knoxville Library also has various literature available to allow readers to learn about the history of Iowa.
