A Knoxville man has been arrested after allegedly burglarizing a residence. On Thursday around 6:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 500 block of W South Street for the report of an estranged husband, identified as 37-year-old Casey James Frye, breaking into the victim’s home.

The caller and minor child escaped out the back door of the home before Frye was able to break in. Officers arrived and located Frye in the kitchen, where he was described as “manic and agitated.” The victim told officers that Frye did not have the right to be in the home.

Frye faces charges of Burglary 2nd Degree, a Class C felony. Bond is set at $10,000, and a preliminary hearing will be held December 30th.
