With the first part of the 2021 season at its end, Pleasantville’s wrestling squad has gotten off to a strong start to the season both in meets and invitationals.
The Trojans’ dual record currently sits at 6-4 on the season. However, what stands out is their finishes in tournaments throughout the first half of the year. Pleasantville has finished in the top three in each of their first three tournaments this season. The Trojans placed third at the Coach Riley Invitational in Nodaway Valley and the West Central Conference Tournament at Ogden. The best finish of the year for Pleasantville thus far is winning the Tri-County Invitational December 11.
Pleasantville is back on the mats January 6 for a quadrangular at Colfax-Mingo with BGM and Montezuma.
