After a 3-8 start to the 2021-22 season, PCM’s girls’ basketball squad will now prepare for a difficult second half.
After having seven of their first 11 games at home, the Mustangs will go on the road for eight of their final 11 games of the year. The 2022 calendar year gets started with a trip up to Jewell to take on South Hamilton January 7. PCM will then take a break from conference action to play at home against Fairfield. After that game, the Mustangs will have seven of their next eight games played on the road. PCM will go to Nevada, Saydel, Albia, Newton, Perry, West Marshall, and Roland-Story. Sandwiched in between those games is a home Heart of Iowa Conference matchup with Greene County. The Mustangs will then end their season with their second matchup of the year against South Hamilton.
The second half of the season for the Mustangs gets underway with a Heart of Iowa Conference showdown as part of a girls/boys doubleheader with South Hamilton January 7. The doubleheader will be broadcast on the KRLS3 stream at kniakrls.com.
