twin-cedars-4

The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad got back into the gym this week with a recent scrimmage at Knoxville. Coach Brad McWilliams tells KNIA/KRLS Sports he was glad to see more of his players take charge and score, something he was looking to have once the game get going again.

McWilliams: “We worked on some things combatting box-in-one and things like that. Some kids like Dallas Clark and Kail Arkema, we also got some rebounding from Landon Roland and things like that.”

Devin Arkema has been the Sabers’ big scorer this season averaging close to 30 points per game…but no one else is anywhere near double figures. McWilliams adds as they get into January opposing teams will Lilley use a box-in-one or other defenses to slow down Arkema and force someone else to score. Twin Cedars gets the season restarted next Thursday at home against Tri-County.
