A four-time All-State volleyball player at Pella High School recently wrapped up another successful collegiate season at the University of Northern Iowa.

Emily Holterhaus was recognized off the court this fall following her third season with the Panthers; she was selected as a Missouri Valley Conference First Team Scholar-Athlete.

Holterhaus was a mainstay for UNI this fall season, playing in 118 sets while starting all 31 matches, finishing with 320 kills at 2.71 per set, 280 digs at 2.37 per set, 40 blocks, and 23 service aces.

Emily was a four-year standout athlete for the Pella Dutch, racking up All-State Honors in volleyball, basketball, and track, and leading Pella to four consecutive state volleyball tournament appearances.
