Many businesses will be closed for the New Year’s Holiday, today, recognized by many January 2, due to New Year’s Day falling on Sunday.

That includes all City of Knoxville and Marion County offices, many businesses, banks, the post office, state and federal offices. Those needing to do business at these locations should plan to do so Tuesday.
