The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will be one of the first to get back to action after the break with a road game Monday against Murray. The Saint boys are winless on the season but Coach John Suntken says after the last two games before the break, where the Saints lost to Twin Cedars by 11 and Seymour by two, he can see progress and hopes as the calendar turns to a new year, wins will come.

Suntken: “I think they’ve done a great job sharing the ball and we’re not completely relying on Owen to score. That last game against Seymour we had players score 16, 14, and 13 and Logan had eight and that’s what we need to do and they’ve responded to that.”

The girls got a shot in the arm with the return to Addison Wadle to the line up in their last game where she scored 28 points to lead the Saints to the win. Tip off from Murray is at 6:00.
