With a full return to activities and athletics for Indianola High School students, the Indianola Activities Department is happy with how the school year has gone so far with safety and performance. Activities Director Lee Nelson tells KNIA News after how well last year went with the pandemic safety, there was a feeling that this year would be a chance to take quick breath and be happy rather than apprehensive.

“This year just felt like we were trying to enjoy what we were about to do knowing that things were going to be pretty normal, and we were going to have events and have fans and not have to deal with that. It was just a more at ease feeling going into this year than it was any time of the last 12 months before that.”
