The Marion County Board of Supervisors will hold its annual organizational meeting today. They’ll select the board chair and vice chair, and make several other appointments. They’ll designate the official publication source, authorize maximum depository thresholds for county funds, consider a master matrix resolution relating to the construction of confinement feeding operations, consider supervisor board and commission assignments, and consider the county employee mileage reimbursement rate, among other items.
