The city of Knoxville has a new planning and zoning administrator. Nathan Parch, originally from Bettendorf, brings a degree in community and regional planning from Iowa State University, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. He has worked in public administration in the Chicago suburbs and in Rock Island Illinois.
Parch tells KNIA/KRLS News that he is impressed with Knoxville, and is looking forward to working on the development of the VA property, and downtown improvements. He adds the move to Knoxville also allows him to be closer to family.
