The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads split at Meskwaki Settlement on Tuesday with the girls falling 41-18 and the boys getting their first win of the season 52-49. The girls were led by Addison Wadle with five points. Coach Kelsey Goff told KNIA Sports they had 12 offensive rebounds, but too many turnovers to overcome. The boys were led by Chase Ripperger with 26 points on eight three point makes while Owen Suntken scored 13. The Saints are back in action Friday at Southeast Warren against Orient-Macksburg.
