The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads will play just their fourth “home” game at Southeast Warren tonight when Orient-Macksburg takes on the Saints. Melcher-Dallas sports squads this fall and winter have had to use Southeast Warren’s gym due to the Saints home gym being deemed unplayable. This will be the case for this season and next until a new gym can be constructed. Coach Kelsey Goff tells KNIA Sports both girls and boys players have adapted well and she is thankful for the fan support while spending the entire season away from home.

Goff: “I’ve always been proud of Melcher’s fan base because they travel so well. I’ve been thankful how well they do travel and now having to travel for every game and it’s been phenomenal.”

Goff reminds her players constantly how the fan support has been this year and hopes the Saints fans can spur them on to a victory tonight. The girls game is set to begin at 6:30 with the boys to follow.
