The Tulip City basketball teams are hitting the road in Little Hawkeye Conference competition this evening as the first round robin nears its end in the league.

Pella’s #4 in 3A boys and #9 in 4A girls are in a pair of top-ten showdowns with the #1 in 3A DCG boys and #4 in 4A Mustang girls in Grimes; the Pella Christian boys (8th in 2A) and Eagles girls are aiming to pick up the pieces after a pair of tough losses to those teams in a pair of winnable contests in Newton.

The Dutch are live on 92.1 KRLS and the Eagles are on the KRLS2 stream, with pregame coverage starting at both sites at 6 p.m.
