The first tournament of the 2022 calendar year for PCM’s wrestling squad will be their home tournament where they will compete against various local schools.

The Mustangs will have 13 other teams compete at this tournament, including Knoxville, Pella, and Pleasantville. Other teams that will compete include Nevada, Earlham, Chariton, and Carlisle. Pella is coming off a tough dual loss to Norwalk Thursday night. Knoxville is coming off finishing 2-1 in their quadrangular Thursday at Albia, beating Chariton and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont. Pleasantville swept their quadrangular Thursday at Colfax-Mingo, who will also be competing in the tournament. PCM’s last meet was a double dual at Saydel with Lynnville-Sully that ended in a sweep.

The tournament at PCM High School gets underway at 9:00 AM.
