The Iowa Football Coaches Association has released its 2021 Academic All State Team. To qualify, each player must be a senior starter, have a cumulative GPA of 3.7 or better at the end of their junior year, must be involved in other extra-curricular activities, and the Head Coach must recommend the player. 

For Knoxville, William Buttell is on the Academic All State Team

For Pella High, Caleb Briggs, Blake Meyer, Quinn Rhamy, and Jason Knox are Academic All State players.

Pleasantville High School representatives are Bristol Huyck and Jacob Hiemstra.

Indianola representatives on the Academic All State Team are Carter Erickson, Casey Stecker, Colton Gordon, and Bryce Moffitt.

Norwalk representatives are Cade Campbell, Royce Clark, Keegan McKinney, Izec Dingman, and Grant Kimball.

And in 8-man football, Luke Lane, Southeast Warren has been recognized.
