The Knoxville School Board met in regular session Monday. Among other matters, they discussed enrollments, and heard an update on the middle school construction project, which is on time. They approved early retirements, and a proposal for bus routes should there not be enough bus drivers. Any impacted route will go to hard surface roads only, with children being dropped off at predetermined drop/pickup sites, so one driver could do two routes. Parents will be notified by email or texts. Members of the community are asked to consider becoming substitute or regular bus drivers.
