The Melcher-Dallas Basketball Squads split their games on Tuesday winning in the girls game 51–41 while the boys fell 52-34. The girls were led by Addison Wadle with 20 points while Kasyn Reed scored 11 points with seven rebounds. The Saints salted the game away at the free throw line making 13/17 to get the win. The boys were hampered by an injury to Owen Suntken and fell to Murray. Melcher-Dallas is off until Friday when the Saints travel to Moulton-Udell. On the mats in Mount Ayr, the Southeast Warren/Melcher-Dallas Wrestlers got two wins over Audubon 48-21 and Mount Ayr 48-24. Melcher-Dallas wrestlers Anthony Schneider, Cole Metz, and Kael Ciakoski all picked up two wins. Southeast Warren will take on Albia and Chariton at Clarke on Thursday.
