The Central men’s basketball team is looking to turn things around today as they play host to Luther College.

The Dutch have faltered out of the holiday break falling in all three games they’ve played. Central hosted American Rivers Conference Leader Wartburg on January 5th and nearly upset the Knights, but ultimately dropped the contest 80-75. The Dutch then traveled to Loras College last Saturday and fell 98-59 before traveling to Buena Vista University on Wednesday where Central lost 86-70. Those three losses put Central’s record at just 3-11 overall at 0-6 in conference action. The Norse come into the game with a 4-9 record overall and 1-4 conference play and sit just ahead of Central in the American Rivers Conference standings.

The men’s game today between Central and Luther can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS beginning with pregame coverage at 2:45 pm followed by tip-over at 3 pm.
