The Marion County Board of Supervisors will meet in special session on Tuesday. On Thursday the United States Supreme Court blocked a federal mandate that employees of large businesses be vaccinated or regularly tested for COVID-19. The Supreme Court allowed a separate rule requiring vaccinations for health care workers that receive Medicare and Medicaid funds. The agenda for the Marion County Board of Supervisors special meeting is to discuss the impacts of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate ruling imposed on Public Health Employees.
