Gardeners preparing for spring will have an opportunity to attend the Think Spring Garden Seminar on February 26th at Simpson College, with tickets for the event available now. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the seminar is always very popular, and the classes provide information on gardening with plants native to Iowa, gardening with conifers, learning about insect pests, and gardening home projects. Four speakers will headline the event, along with vendors with garden merchandise. Tickets for the event cost $45 until January 23rd, with the last day to register on January 30th, and will take place at the Kent Campus Center at Simpson College.
