The Pella Christian Bowling teams were swept in their first road match of the season Thursday against Bondurant-Farrar. The Eagles boys bowling team fell to the Blue Jays 2666-2174, and the girls bowling team lost 2338-1754. 

The Pella Christian boys squad was led by Austin Moorman with a 330 score, followed closely by Evan DeJong who posted a 297. The high scores for the Eagles girls were Alayna VanKooten at 263, and Alexa Klaasen at 255. Pella Christian Head Coach Rod Blunck said that his squad has room to improve but overall was pleased with how the meet went.

Both the Pella Christian boys and girls bowling teams dropped to 1-3 on the season. The Eagles next meet is on Saturday, January 29th at Sigourney beginning at 1:00 pm.
