After dropping their last game at Des Moines Christian Friday night, Pleasantville’s boys’ basketball squad will try to get back in the win column with a non-conference showdown at home against Clarke Monday night.
Even though the Trojans lost to the Lions, Pleasantville’s Mason Scheve became the ninth player in Pleasantville boys’ basketball history to eclipse 1,000 career points. Pleasantville’s had success against Clarke in the past, going 9-4 against them in the VarsityBound era. The Trojans have won three of the last four matchups against the Indians, including winning 67-45 in last year’s matchup. With a victory, the Trojans would match their win total from last season at eight wins.
The matchup at Pleasantville High School gets underway Monday night at 7:00 PM.
