twin-cedars-4

The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad will conclude its run in the Bluegrass Conference Tournament with a consolation round game at home against Moulton-Udell. The Sabers defeated Orient-Macksburg in a rock fight 32-25 as both teams could not find the basket. Players Dallas Clark and Devin Arkema tell KNIA/KRLS Sports teams are starting to employ junk defenses to stop Arkema from scoring, and they feel they are improving in that aspect of the game.

Clark: “I think we’re doing pretty good, we like to move the ball on a box and one and Devin has stepped up and making his shots.”
Arkema: “We’ve been doing good when they throw a box and one against us, as Dallas and Kail have hit their shots, so it’s been good.”

Case in point on Monday, when Devin Arkema struggled with his shooting, Kail Arkema scored 13 of his 15 points in the 2nd half to key the win. Tip off from Twin Cedars is scheduled for 7:30.
