The Indianola wrestling team finished the Little Hawkeye Conference season with a dual win over county rival Norwalk on senior night Thursday, edging out the Warriors 35-30 to claim the conference title. The Indians got wins by fall from Ryan Young at 113lbs, Ryder Downey at 152lbs, and Walker Whalen at 195lbs, while Bowen Downey won by major decision at 120lbs, AJ Pontier won by major decision at 145lbs, and Jake Pontier at 138lbs, Isaiah Kellow at 182lbs, and Cael Crawford at 220lbs all scored points.

Tyler Harper at 106lbs, Donovan Card at 132lbs, Caden Nunez at 170lbs, and Maddux Borcherding-Johnson all picked up wins by fall for the Warriors.

Both teams next wrestle in the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament Saturday at Oskaloosa.
