The Knoxville Wrestling Squad went 1-2 at a quad meet at North Polk on Thursday. The Panthers rolled over Denison 65-18, but lost to the host Comets 46-32 and to Winterset 51-20. Marco Alejo, Chaz Graves, and Luke Spaur all went 3-0 on the night. The Panthers are off to the Fairfield Invitational on Saturday. The Panther bowlers picked up two wins over Creston on Thursday with the boys claiming a 2567-2392 win, helped by shooting their highest Baker game of the season at 996. Robert Sloan had a high series of 447 and a high game of 244. The girls were also victorious, winning 2122-2035. Paige Ludington had high honors with a 170 game and a series of 336. The Panthers will travel to Pella to take on the Dutch on Saturday.
