The Pella City Council will consider final approval of contracts for three construction projects at their meeting this evening.

Resolutions are on the agenda to approve change orders and final quantity adjustments for 250th Avenue reconstruction near the new Lely Park, east interchange infrastructure improvements to support the development, and the new telecommunications building next to the electric department on Truman Road.

The council will also establish a public hearing at a future meeting during regular business Tuesday to confirm the city’s tax rate. According to a memo to council, the rate is expected to stay at $10.20 for the 21st consecutive year.
