After a lackluster loss to Albia on Tuesday, the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad will turn their attention to the remainder of the schedule in non-conference action beginning tonight against one of the Panthers’ most difficult opponents, Class 4A #13 Bondurant-Farrar. The two teams did not play last year and the Bluejays have largely dominated the series in recent meetings since it restarted in 2016 and hold an all-time 3-2 lead. Junior Player Larissa Wells tells KNIA/KRLS Sports her ability to get into the lane has helped her overall confidence in the game this sndeleason.

Wells: “I’ve got a lot more confidence getting into the lane. Now I just need to make sure I hit the free throws and the and-ones, and get that in my back pocket.”

The Blue Jays currently stand in 3rd place in the Raccoon River Conference at 11-6. Live coverage tonight is on 95.3 KNIA at 7:15 with audio provided on the KHS Activities You Tube Channel.
