It is an all-Marion County battle on the lanes at Statesmen Lanes in Oskaloosa as the Knoxville and Pella Christian Bowling squads will take on each other in a make-up meet that was snowed out a few weeks ago. Senior Bowler for the Panthers Paige Ludington tells KNIA/KRLS Sports she is looking to improve her scores and pick up spares when the opportunity presents itself.

Ludington: “I just really want to be more consistent and picking up spares. I just want to score higher and do better in each meet.”

For the Eagles, Jack Zula and Austin Moorman tell KNIA/KRLS Sports it should be a good meet and hope everyone brings their best game to the lanes.

“I think we compare pretty well to them. I haven’t looked at the stats, but just going off of last year it should be a pretty good meet. I just want everyone to bring their best game and have fun.”

The meet gets underway this afternoon at 2:15.
