One of the biggest projects in 2021 for the Pella Area Community and Economic Alliance was the launch of the Spirit of Pella. Executive Director of the PACE Alliance Karen Eischen says the stand-alone non-profit organization was formed to tackle downtown quality of life projects — the first of which was enhanced Christmas decorations this past November and December. Eischen says the PACE Alliance supports the group as they will also address several other enhancements in 2022.
