The Warren County Board of Supervisors approved several projects that will take place over the next year using federal funds from the Biden administration’s American Rescue Plan Act. Board Chair Aaron DeKock tells KNIA News the projects range from smaller ones from below $5,000 for a Warren County Conservation project to a bridge replacement on Highway S23, and also to get more offices and utilize space on the Warren County Justice Center project.
“The board approved the probation office and juvenile court to be included in the Justice Center. The board in the past approved building out some shell space in the basement, the cost was very reasonable to do so in the middle of construction. So we received some general quotes, but it looks like creating those two offices will cost a little under $500,000.”
