The Twin Cedars Basketball Squads earned a split with class 3A Saydel on Thursday night with the girls winning 45-37 and the boys falling 62-28. The Sabers led by just one point at halftime but opened it up in the 3rd quarter to take control. Rylee Dunkin led the Sabers with 15 points, Cheyanne Bruns scored ten while Jetta Sterner scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds. The boys were led by Devin Arkema’s 25 points. The girls will play at Albia on Monday while the boys host Iowa Valley tonight.
