A non-profit organization new in 2021 aiming to bolster Pella’s central business district received another significant boost. Marion County Bank donated $40,000 to the Spirit of Pella, the group responsible for funding enhanced holiday season decorations in 2021. The Spirit of Pella has several enhancements in the works for various locations in downtown Pella, including new outdoor seating in the Molengracht and Klokkenspel plazas, partnerships with local businesses for new murals, additional Christmas decorations, and more.
