The Indianola Show Choirs competed at Norwalk’s Nexu Show Choir Competition over the weekend, with both Side One and Flip Side earning top results.

Side One took 1st Runner up during the day competition to advance to the evening finals, where they finished 1st Runner Up, with Side One also taking home the “Best Band Award” for the day competition, with Oliva Comer selected as “Best Female Soloist”, and Jay Rixner was selected as “Best Male Soloist.” Flip Side earned a First Place finish in the prep division.

The choirs will next compete in a competition hosted at Indianola High School on February 18th and 19th.
