The application window has closed for the Indianola City Manager position, with a total of 37 applicants responding. Interim City Manager Charlie Dissell tells KNIA News the plan is for council to begin looking through the report from the search from next month.

“At this point our city manager recruiter that was hired by the city is doing their due diligence on those candidates and will put together a final report that will be presented to the council here on March 2nd. So we’ve tentatively scheduled that, and it will be in closed session since we need to discuss people who may be hired by the city so that needs to be done in closed session.”
